The Football Association and Fabio Capello have released a statement regarding John Terry's role as captain of England...
"After much thought, I have made the decision that it will be best for me to take the captaincy away from John Terry.
"As a captain with the team, John Terry has displayed extremely positive behaviour. However, I have to take into account other considerations and what is best for all of the England squad.
"What is best for all of the England team has inspired my choice."
The 2012 European Championships Qualifying groups have now been drawn.
England have been drawn into group G with Switzerland, Bulgaria, Wales and Montenegro.
England were drawn as top seed in their group thanks to their impressive qualification for World Cup 2010 South Africa where they dropped only 3 points in the 10 game campaign.
The fixtures are yet to be announced as all four Football Associations need to agree on the order of the fixtures.
You will be able to find the fixtures on nationwidefootball.co.uk as soon as they are announced.

England manager Fabio Capello held an exclusive fans forum with nationwidefootball.co.uk winners at The Football Assocation in Soho Square.
Fabio answered a range of questions from over 80 winners who entered the competition on nationwidefootball.co.uk.
In answering these questions Fabio Capello told fans that his favourite English player of all-time was Sir Bobby Charlton.
"He was one of the players I liked a great deal when I was playing, he was a midfielder like myself. He had similar qualities to Alfredo Di Stefano, the same style, always doing everything, defending, attacking. He was really a fantastic player."

Fabio Capello is looking forward to England's derby clashes with Wales in Euro 2012 qualifying. The Three Lions were drawn against John Toshack's men in the five-team Group G, which also includes Switzerland, Bulgaria and Montenegro.
Capello said: "All four opponents are really dangerous. Wales will be my first derby as manager of an international team. It will be interesting. They are really young but the value of the players is high. I prefer a smaller group because we have less games but the group is very tough. Switzerland qualified for the World Cup, they are one of the best teams. I remember when I played against them it was not easy to win away. I have big confidence in my team and I am sure we will play a fantastic qualifying tournament for 2012."
Wales and England last played each other in 2005, when England won 1-0 at the Millenium Stadium during qualifying for the following year's World Cup.
England will play Mexico on Monday 24th May at Wembley Stadium in their final home friendly before the World Cup.
The Three Lions open their South Africa 2010 campaign against the USA on 12th June and Mexico are seen as the perfect opponents for them to play in the build-up.
It will be the last pre-tournament match to be held at Wembley, with the final friendly, thought to be against Japan, being hosted in Austria, where a post-season training camp has been organised.
Midfielder Owen Hargreaves has not been included in Manchester United's squad for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Defender Ritchie de Laet has taken his place in the United Champions League squad.
Sir Alex Ferguson hailed Wayne Rooney as "truly world class" after the striker scored the winner in Manchester United's dramatic Carling Cup semi-final win over rivals City.
Rooney headed the decisive goal two minutes into stoppage time with the match poised to go into extra time, setting up a final with Aston Villa at the end of next month.
Ferguson said: "His control, his leading of the line, his penetration was absolutely fantastic.
"It was a wonderful performance, truly world class."
Rooney himself added: "I know with our deliveries I will get chances and thankfully I took that one in injury time."

Peter Crouch posed for photographs, signed autographs and gave nationwidefootball.co.uk an exclusive interview.
