Penalty Shootout

Get on the leader board for a chance to compete in a penalty shootout at the next England home game.

Penalty Shootout Competition Rules
  1. To enter you must complete the game online.
  2. The closing date for entry is 10.00am on 3 May 2010.
  3. Only one entry per person is permitted. No purchase is necessary.
  4. The competition is not open to Nationwide Group employees, their families or their appointed agents.
  5. Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
  6. Three entrants from the leaderboard at the closing date will have the chance to compete against each other in a penalty shootout at Wembley Stadium. These three entrants will be drawn at random from the 100 on the board.
  7. The penalty shootouts will take place during halftime of the next England game to be played at Wembley Stadium. The winners will also receive a pair of tickets for the match and the winner of the shootout will receive a signed home nation's shirt of their choice.
  8. The penalty shootout will involve the 3 winners taking penalties against a goal keeper. If a winner misses a penalty, they are eliminated from the competition. The winners will take a maximum of four penalties each until an overall winner is found. If there is a tie after the four penalties have been taken then home nations signed shirts will be given to those remaining in the competition. If no penalties are scored, no prizes will be awarded.
  9. The winners will be notified by e-mail or phone after 3 May 2010.
  10. There is no cash or other alternatives to the prizes stated.
  11. All prizes are non-transferable and match tickets cannot be sold.
  12. The prize does not include the cost of transport to and from the match or any accommodation.
  13. Details of the winners (names and home counties only) will be available by writing to Sponsorship B2, Nationwide House, Nationwide Building Society, Pipers Way, Swindon SN38 2SN during the week preceding the match.
  14. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. Any entrants who submit entries with screen names that could be construed as obscene, offensive or rude will have their entries deleted.
  16. We reserve the right to use winners' names and photographs in publicity.
