Wales midfielder Joe Ledley is hoping he will return to action before the end of the season.
The Cardiff City star will be out for 10 weeks after undergoing surgery on his hip this Friday, but believes he will be available for the last few games of 2009/10.
Ledley said: "Hopefully, the aim is to get back [before] the end of the season.
"It [the operation] is frustrating, but it's got to be done and hopefully I can come back better and stronger, and hopefully I'll be pain free as well.
"Talking to the physios, I think Warren Feaney came back in 10 weeks and Roger [Johnson] was about the same.
"If you look at Roger he had exactly the same [operation] and he's been brilliant at Birmingham. Warren Feaney has come back strong and he's been fine.
"I believe in myself that I can get back hopefully for the last two games of the season."
